Hublot

"An entrepreneur is one who has the courage to make mistakes, to accept mistakes but never repeat them twice and who always tries to be first, different and unique."

A graduate of the University of Lausanne (HEC EcoPo 1975), Jean-Claude Biver was President of the watch division of the LVMH Group, which includes Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith watches.

After his studies at HEC Lausanne, Jean-Claude Biver made his debut at Audemars Piguet in 1975. He has always had a passion for the watch industry, and was notably CEO of Blancpain and a member of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group. He was the first to introduce a luxury brand into the world of football, giving Hublot international exposure as Official Timekeeper of FIFA. Jean-Claude Biver is known to have left his mark in the watch industry, notably at Omega, Blancpain, Hublot, and many other companies.

In January 2012, he leaves the position of CEO of Hublot while remaining President and will be appointed President of the watch division of the LVMH Group, which includes Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith watches. In particular, he recently launched several watches connected with TAG Heuer. For health reasons, he will relinquish his responsibilities within the Group in 2019 while remaining non-executive Chairman of the LVMH watch division.
