Our food system is currently threatening both people and the planet. While global food production of calories has generally kept pace with population growth, more than 820 million people still lack sufficient food and many more consume too much food. Global food production also constitutes the single largest driver of environmental degradation. This calls for radical transformation of the global food system. (Source : Report of the EAT)

This opening event of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023 organised by the HUB Entrepreneurship & Innovation UNIL explores how innovation and entrepreneurship could help us to benefit from healthy diets and sustainable food system.

We are delighted to welcome a panel of 4 swiss entrepreneurs & innovators who are transforming the food system. Discover how they offer solutions for the future through four different angles : plant based protein, food waste, carbon frontprint tracking and sustainable farming.

 With them, we will explore the following questions :

✋🏻 What are the most efficient actions we should take at regional level to accelerate the transition ?
