“Many entrepreneurial successes do not ultimately correspond at all to the initial project. Many entrepreneurs succeed not because their initial idea was the right one, but because they were able to make the necessary pivots at the right time.”

“Many entrepreneurial successes do not ultimately correspond at all to the initial project. Many entrepreneurs succeed not because their initial idea was the right one, but because they were able to make the necessary pivots at the right time.”

Steve Savioz, HEC Faculty Alumni

After graduating from the University of Lausanne, ( HEC 2000 ), Steve co-founded and managed Virtua, the largest digital agency in French-speaking Switzerland at the time of his departure in 2015 (80 employees).

At the same time, he is interested in startups. He entered this world by associating himself and participating operationally in the development of two of them. Following the success of these projects (swissfriends sold to Edipresse, My store sold to DeinDeal), he decided to create Akiden Ventures in 2016, a project halfway between a startup studio and a startup gas pedal. Akiden Ventures co-founds or invests in startups, then becomes the engine of their growth by directing or accompanying their marketing (among them, some have become leaders on their market such as Batmaid, Neho, Hosco,… ).

In 2019, he capitalizes on the experience he gained by accelerating startups, and co-founds Bright, a digital marketing agency that offers its clients optimized marketing support, based on the analysis of all data. ( 30 employees in 2022 )
