UCreate Community Summer Party at Villanova

On June 8th, the UCreate community (Alumni and participants of our programs, coaches, trainers and 100 UNIL entrepreneurs) gathered for an evening punctuated by 4 highlights :

The final pitches of the Residents+ projects

The 7 projects that were accompanied this semester by the HUB with coaching pitched their project in front of the HUB team, their coach and the other teams. They were able to get advice and feedback to continue the development of their project.

Final pitches of the UCreate3 projects

The 8 teams had 5 minutes to pitch their project to external panelists who were discovering their projects. Thanks to Maya Gharbi, Fabio Monte, Matthieu Harbich and Leila Delarive, for their valuable feedback to the teams.

A workshop on the theme of impact measurement

Sébastien Chahidi (B lab) opened this workshop by presenting the issues relating to impact measurement. Then a panel composed of Alban Bitz (Opaline & DSS+), Dr. Maryam Yepes (Nutrimenu) and Philippe Michiels (Dicifood) shared the opportunities and challenges of measuring this impact in small business. A big thank you to everyone for this moment of exchanges.

Vegetarian BBQ to celebrate this reunion 

Discussions continued in a summer atmosphere in the Villanova garden. A unique moment spent all together ! The start-up Low Impact Food (UCreate3 Alumni) even had their snacks made from edible insects tasted.

Great success therefore to combine pitch, thematic workshop and festivities over a half-day. A community was born, thank you to those who contribute to create it !
