Three UCreate projects rewarded at the FIT Impact !

As part of the first edition of the FIT Impact, Diabète, Même Pas Peur ! won the Grand Prix FIT Impact worth CHF 20,000, while Musée à l'emporter won over the jury with a Prix Coup de Coeur of CHF 10,000, and Nuole was awarded the Prix du Public of CHF 5,000.

The Fondation vaudoise pour l'innovation technologique (FIT), in collaboration with regional universities, awarded three prizes worth CHF 20,000, CHF 10,000 and CHF 5,000 through its new FIT Impact program, which supports projects with a social or environmental impact. The event took place on May 23rd, 2024 at the Perchoir in Vortex, and attracted a captivated audience.

Three projects from the UCreate program were in the running for this Grand Prix, and all three were successfully rewarded by FIT Impact :

• Winner of the Grand Prix worth CHF 20,000, Diabète, Même Pas Peur ! enables anyone to acquire the knowledge and confidence needed to care for a child with type 1 diabetes in less than 30 minutes.
• The Coup de Coeur prize of CHF 10,000 was awarded to Musée à l'emporter. This prize will enable them to pursue their ambition of bringing museum objects to remote locations and creating moments of exchange and intergenerational encounters.
• Nuole won the Public Prize of CHF 5,000. The project aims to reduce plastic waste in the bathroom, by offering a powder that transforms into liquid soap, the products are all swiss made.
