LocaMap

The Locamap project was born out of an in-depth survey conducted by the team among 1,300 Swiss families. The study revealed that 60% of parents consider the financial cost of outdoor activities to be a major obstacle to regular excursions in nature. In a context where children's sedentary lifestyles are emerging as a critical societal challenge,

Locamap aims to remove this obstacle by offering innovative, interactive topographical maps. These maps are designed to engage children in the planning and execution of family adventures through Switzerland's varied landscapes, making exploration fun and accessible. This initiative was crowned with success at the 2023 edition of the UCreate 2 incubator, where it was awarded a prize of CHF 2,000.
