Diabète, Même pas peur ! wins the Pitch’N’Bar at GEW 2023
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023, Pitch'n'bar Impact, a pitch competition, awarded Mathieu Menet and his project Diabète, Même pas peur! prizes totalling the equivalent of CHF 3,680.
The Perchoir du Vortex successfully welcomed over 70 people to celebrate this flagship entrepreneurial event, Pitch'n'bar, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023. Organised by the IFJ in partnership with HEC Espace Entreprise, UNIL's Entrepreneurship and Innovation HUB and Lausanne Région, the evening captivated a passionate audience as the bar pulsated to the rhythm of the pitches, kicking off with a series of captivating projects focusing on the theme of impact. Participants were immersed in dynamic presentations, evaluated by an expert jury and the audience, highlighting innovative ideas.
The highlight of the evening was the victory of winner Mathieu Menet, whose project captivated the audience. His project, Diabète, Même pas peur! addresses the issue of managing type 1 diabetes in children. With a simple click, the platform is able to create a customised training programme, perfectly adapted to the child, the person who will be taking care of him or her and the context in which it will be delivered. In less than 30 minutes, this programme will impart the knowledge and confidence needed to manage type 1 diabetes in children.
