A graduate of the University of Lausanne (Lettre), Marc studied at Heidelberg University, then at Freie Universität Berlin, where he obtained a PhD in Letters. He then taught in the United States (Yale University and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor).
Marc has been active in communications since 2006. Between 2008 and 2011, he founded and managed the French-speaking part of Switzerland’s largest and oldest public relations agency. Since 2012, he has been working within his own company. Previously, he was a political journalist with several editorial offices in Lausanne, Geneva and Bern (Le Temps, télévision romande, dimanche.ch, Facts).
Marc has published two books (his thesis and an investigation into the non-election of Ruth Metzler to the Federal Council); he regularly appears in traditional and social media to comment on political news.
