What is the biggest problem that every student faces, especially when he/she graduates?

Finding a job / a first relevant experience

There are many ways to find a job for graduates, but none of them are really adapted and dedicated exclusively to students. Therefore, you have to go on the websites of the desired companies or use platforms that are not adapted to your needs. LinkedIn-type profiles blend into the mass of active people, which is also the case for job applications. The first job is a headache for the vast majority of graduates, regardless of their CV.

Our idea

Our idea is to create a dedicated platform exclusively for students. This platform profiles the students, describes their background, and contains a section that references the relevant work of the student (such as the thesis). Companies have access to this database (of works) and can search by theme. Let’s say I’m a company and I open a position for a FX specialist, I can see all the theses (by region) that have been done in the field of FOREX (foreign exchange market).

In parallel, there is a section (page) that gathers all the job offers in which we are looking for students or « early stage positions ».

The advantage of this platform is twofold: for students, they have a platform dedicated to them and they are no longer lost in the mass of active people who apply for everything. On the other hand, for the companies, this platform acts as a huge first selection by proposing only students.

What motivates us to join the UCreate 2 program

We have a lot of mental barriers related to entrepreneurship and are sure that this program will help us overcome them. In addition, we believe that it is very important to know how to surround yourself with people who have more experience in order to move forward in an optimal way. Finally, through the different modules, we hope to refine our idea and develop skills.
