“Believe in yourself.”

Taha Bawa, Alumni of the Faculty of Business and Economics

After graduating from the University of Lausanne with a degree in Economics (HEC 2011), Taha obtained an MBA from the University of Oxford. Both his educational background and childhood played a significant role in shaping his social enterprise, Goodwall.

Born in Switzerland, Taha was raised in a family dedicated to humanitarian work and had lived in four countries by age 11, exposing him to the realities of the world early in life. Moved by the unequal opportunities he observed while visiting refugee camps, he later explored the potential of social networking technology to create positive change.

With a mission to level the playing field for youth globally, he co-founded Goodwall in 2015, a platform that uses experiential learning to upskill and connect youth to opportunities. Taha is part of the WEF Global Shaper community, featured on Forbes 30 Under 30, Entrepreneur Magazine 15 Under 30, and Bilan 40 Under 40. He is also on the Advisory Council of the Adecco Foundation, gives lectures on entrepreneurship at Innosuisse, and regularly speaks about skills development, connecting youth to opportunity, leveraging technology for impact, and climate justice.
