In love with the Valais, he came to study in Lausanne. A graduate of the University of Lausanne (HEC Management 2012), he learns the meaning of efficiency, quality and especially Swiss ecology. As part of his master’s thesis, he studies the transformation of the negative externalities of family production into economic and environmental opportunities.
Son and grandson of mussel producers in Brittany, nature, boats and machines have permeated Axel’s upbringing.
In 2016, he founded Mussella to valorize the gaps in mussel production for the food industry and food supplements. After years of research and development, he launched the construction of Mussella 2, the first European site dedicated to this valorization. Today, Mussella is made up of 32 producer partners, spread over 6 bays.
