Aurore Bui
Following engineering studies and an MBA, Aurore has built her career on putting her technical and interpersonal skills to work on high-impact projects. She works within organizations as a strategy consultant or interim director, and carries out facilitation missions.
She is a member of various boards and committees in line with her areas of expertise (B-Corp, CSR, Diversity, Tech4Good, Philanthropy, Swissness and the creation of a Swiss antenna for foreign startups). She is a member of the Female Board Pool Europe.
She is co-president of the Soft-Power association, which is committed to giving everyone the power to act and undertake. Soft-Power continues the work begun in 2009 by the social enterprise Softweb, of which she is founder and lead coach. The association supports entrepreneurs and people in transition through a combination of personal and project positioning.

After 15 years in tech leadership as a serial entrepreneur, starting four companies including CO2-monitor, I returned to academia, researching Societal Transition Pathways at EPFL and teaching at Business School Lausanne and UNIL.
As a proud father of two, an active outdoors sportsman, and passionate about nature and discovering humans and their achievements, I was naturally attracted to sustainability.
There is so much beauty, resilience, and mystery in life that continuing to run after money and material growth is the ultimate tragedy of humanity. Our obsolete system, efficiently transforming the biosphere into waste, needs urgent replacement by a much better, inclusive society, cherishing life in all its forms, enabling human flourishing, starting with science, the arts, and human relationships.
