Thomas Verduyn

Co-Founder and CEO at Légumes Perchés

A graduate of UNIL's Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (2015), Thomas holds a Master's degree in Information Science from UNIL's Faculty of Business Studies.

Thomas is a farmer's son who spent most of his days with his twin brother playing and discovering the trade by imitating his parents. Later, he left the countryside for the city. He joined the Rudolf Steiner school, where he developed his skills in manual work, particularly in the vegetable garden.

It was while studying for his Master's degree in Information Systems at HEC Lausanne in 2018 that he decided to launch Légumes Perchés to reconnect with his food. He had the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of market gardening on a farm in Canada. Over the past two years, he has visited numerous urban agriculture projects in Europe and North America. He is passionate about agriculture and is happy to share his experience.
