Apolline Carrard 100 entrepreneurs UNIL

“Nothing is impossible, you just have to give yourself the means to succeed! Being an entrepreneur means being passionate about your field, not counting your hours, working in many other sectors, receiving regular training to stay up to date and be competitive, being curious, but above all, it is a total joy to create what is dear to your heart, to develop it and make it a business. What pride at the end of the road!”

Apolline Carrard, Alumni of theFaculty of Social and political sciences

A graduate of the University of Lausanne (SSP 2015), I have a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Movement and Sports Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Modern French. I co-founded VO2 Sport in 2016, with my colleague Elisa Fontana, a company active in the field of sports, more specifically in sports performance analysis, coaching and private coaching.

We developed VO2 Sport in 2019 by creating a limited liability company and expanding our center by integrating a multidisciplinary team with dieticians, physiotherapists, masseurs and sport psychologists. VO2 Sport Sàrl wants to be a quality center to support athletes and clubs in the North Vaud region and beyond.

It is thanks to my studies, but also thanks to my personal and practical experiences in different sports (triathlon, running, swimming, skiing) that the desire to help people reach their sporting or well-being goals came to me. I am now lucky enough to be able to combine passion and professional life.
